Dr. Carol S. Pearson will participate in three sessions at the 14th Annual International Leadership Association Global Conference, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver, October 24-27, 2012. This year’s conference theme is “Leadership Across the Great Divides: Bridging Cultures, Contexts, and Complexities.”
On Thursday, October 25th, at 10:45 a.m., Dr. Pearson will moderate a session organized around the theme of her new book, “The Transforming Leader: New Approaches to Leadership for the Twenty-First Century,” which grew out of a project sponsored by the Fetzer Institute. Presenters will include five authors who contributed essays to the book: Barbara Mossberg of California State University Monterey Bay; Kathleen Allen of Allen & Associates; Eliane Ubalijoro of C.L.E.A.R. International Development, Inc.; Karin Jironet of de Baak, a major Dutch leadership institute; and Zachary Green of the University of San Diego.
On Friday, October 26th, from 5 to 7 p.m., Dr. Pearson will be signing copies of the book at an “Authors in Leadership” session. And on Saturday, October 27th, at 11:30 a.m., she will join Neal Mallet of Berrett-Koehler Publishers, which issued “The Transforming Leader,” and Anne Duffy of Psychology Press/Routledge for a panel discussion on “Leadership Editors Talk Publishing: How Ideas Become Books.”
